In addition to our extensive builder warranty and state warranty coverage, our homes carry a third party, written ten year transferable warranty through the Residential Warranty Corporation (RWC / Home of Texas). However, you will probably never need this warranty service due to Ultra's high construction standards and the RWC's strict membership screening and building inspections process. The RWC has been servicing Texas and the nation since 1981.
Home warranties issued by RWC are insured by Western Pacific Mutual Insurance Company, A Risk Retention Group (WPMIC). WPMIC specializes in builder home warranties and, in fact only writes insurance for its builder members.
The RWC has been in the new home warranty business for 37 years, has $112 million in surplus equity and has issued warranties on over 3 million homes. Having a RWC warranty has a very beneficial affect on the resale value of your home, here's how: Your home is warranted for the duration of the warranty period selected for your home by your Builder. If your home is sold during that warranty term, the balance of the warranty transfers automatically to the next homeowner.
